Lynden Stone: multidisciplinary artist, art teacher and researcher.

I hold a PhD in Fine Art from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University where I taught painting and drawing. I have also taught at QUT, South Bank TAFE Brisbane and TAFE NSW Murwillumbah. In 2021, I relocated from Northern NSW to Mount Dandenong in the outer east of Melbourne. I now teach painting and drawing face to face through the Victorian Learn Local Scheme. My practice encompasses several conceptual themes including: “Visualizing the unvisualisable” (the pre-material world of quantum physics), the “Sacred Gaia Healing project” (an hilarious parody of gross exploitative capitalism in the New Age industry) and “The artist’s collections” (a painting based project of the real and imagined collections of the artist). I also provide one-on-one mentoring and art lessons.
